TAAA National Advisory Council Comes Together in Melbourne Ahead of the ITAs

There’s nothing quite like getting people in the same room to share ideas, catch up and talk about the future of Talent Acquisition.

Members of the Talent Acquisition Association of Australia’s (TAAA) National Advisory Council recently came together in Melbourne ahead of the ITAs, bringing together experienced Talent Acquisition leaders from across Australia.

For Rachel Hill, Co-Founder and Director of TAAA and Managing Director of Hill Consulting HRS, it was a great opportunity to connect with fellow Council members and continue building momentum around TAAA’s vision for the profession.

Bringing Talent Acquisition leaders together

TAAA’s Founding National Advisory Council brings together senior Talent Acquisition professionals with experience spanning a wide range of industries, sectors and specialist areas.

The Council plays an important role in guiding the Association on key decisions, including its Code of Conduct, competency framework, qualifications and events.

Just as importantly, it brings together people who understand the challenges and opportunities facing Talent Acquisition today and who are keen to help shape where the profession goes next.

With TAAA now officially launched, these conversations are an important part of turning the Association’s vision into practical action.

Meet the National Advisory Council

The Council represents a broad cross-section of Australia's Talent Acquisition community, bringing together in-house TA leaders, consultants, recruitment technology specialists and other industry experts.

Their collective experience will help ensure TAAA continues to develop in ways that are relevant to the profession and the people working within it.

We're delighted to see this group come together to contribute their knowledge, experience and ideas to the future of Talent Acquisition in Australia.

As the Association grows, collaboration between practitioners, leaders, employers, educators and industry partners will be essential to strengthening professional standards, developing career pathways and raising recognition of Talent Acquisition across Australia.

It's exciting to see that work taking shape, and we're looking forward to what comes next.

Together, we're building the future of Talent Acquisition in Australia.
